How can I tell if my Pokémon card is fake?+

Common giveaways are washed-out or overly saturated colours, wrong card-back shade, blurry or misaligned text, missing texture on holo and textured cards, wrong weight or stiffness, and errors in the set symbol or collector number. The most reliable single test is comparing against a known-genuine copy of the same card. If you are unsure, submit photos here and experienced collectors will check it for free.
