Is the TCGrader card grading app free?+
Yes — the app is free to download on Google Play and every new account includes one free AI grade. After that, grades cost from £0.99 as one-off credits or £9.99/month for 25 grades on the Collector plan.
How does the app grade cards?+
You photograph the front and back of the card. The AI analyzes centering, corners, edges and surface — the same four attributes PSA, CGC and Beckett assess — and returns an overall grade with sub-grades in about 30 seconds. Precision mode additionally inspects 18 zoomed regions including the back corners and edges, with the enhanced crops shown to you as evidence.
Which cards does it work with?+
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana and sports cards. The instant identifier recognizes the exact card and printing before grading it.
Is there an iPhone version?+
The iOS app is in development and coming soon. Until then, iPhone users can grade at tcgrader.com in Safari — the web app uses the same AI and the same account, no install needed.
Can card shops use the app?+
