It depends on the service level: PSA, CGC, TAG and Beckett each offer tiers with different fees and turnaround times, typically from around $12 to over $100 per card, with higher tiers required for more valuable cards. This calculator shows every active tier with live fees, refreshed from the graders’ own published pricing twice a week.
A card is usually worth grading when its graded sale value at a realistic grade exceeds its ungraded value plus the grading fee and shipping. Scan or search your card above and the calculator runs that math for you at grades 7, 8, 9 and 10 using real sold prices.
Net profit at each grade = the graded sale value (from live sales data for that exact card) minus the grading fee, a ~$1.50 per-card shipping share, and the ungraded value you give up by grading instead of selling raw.
Fees change regularly and the cheapest tier is not always the best value once turnaround time and value caps are considered. The calculator compares all active PSA, CGC, TAG and Beckett tiers side by side for your specific card so you can see which nets the most.
PSA fees depend on the service tier and the card’s declared value, starting around $15–20 per card for the value tiers and rising past $100 for express service on high-value cards. Turnaround also varies by tier from a few days to several weeks. This PSA grading cost calculator shows every active PSA tier with live fees alongside CGC, TAG and Beckett, so you can compare the true cost — and the projected profit — before you submit.
