Charmander #69 from Base Set 2 is a common card that currently sells for about $1.99 ungraded, with graded copies ranging from $20.00 at grade 7 to $207 at grade 10. A grade 10 copy sells for around $207, about 104× the $1.99 raw price, so high-grade copies are worth grading.
